Detailed Itinerary
You will be met by our airport representative and transferred to the hotel by our private tourist vehicle. You have the free evening and overnight at the hotel.
Fly or drive is your choice. If you choose to drive then the first leg of this adventure is a 6 to 8 hour bus ride from Kathmandu to P8-hour, where you’ll spend the night before starting the trek the following morning. Pokhara is a scenic town at the base of the Annapurna Range and you should catch your first views in the evening.
The next morning, after an early breakfast, we drive towards Nayapul village the starting point of our trek. It will take about 45 minutes by private car to reach Nayapul and the Mt Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) will always look down on us. After you reach in Nayapul, then we can officially begin our trek towards Ulleri. Heading through beautiful scenic surroundings, forest trails and ascending stone steps that lead us next to Mani walls and vegetation. Around 4 hours trek lets you witness the small Gurung settlements and beautiful forests of rhododendrons and finally, we reach in Ulleri village where we stay for the night.
Today, after an early breakfast, we will depart from Ulleri and head towards Ghorepani which is situated at an altitude of the 2874m. It’s around 6 hours of gentle hiking until we reach Ghorepani. On the way, we can visit the beautiful village Banthanti with wonderful views of the great Himalayas such as; Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, Annapurna South and other high altitude mountain peaks. On the way to Ghorepani, the trail is filled with fauna and flora, scenic rhododendron and shadow forests and listen to the different bird songs. If we have time then you can enjoy the impressive sunset from Poon Hill. You will stay overnight at Ghorepani.
Today is a relatively easy downhill trek through gentle forests. Once you reach Ghandruk you will have great views of Annapurna South and Fish Tail. If you have time visit the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk with your trekking guide.
Next morning, after having breakfast, we will make an easy trek towards Ghandruk through beautiful dense rhododendron, oak and Sal forests along the side of the Kimrung Khola where different species of birds are richly habited. Continuing we will be ascending steeply towards Ghandruk village where will stay for the night.
This is the last day of trekking and while we cover some distance it’s all downhill and relatively easy. You will have good views of some of the peaks like Annapurna South as you hike. Once you reach the small village of Kimche you will be walking near the road and it’s possible to get a local jeep if you want to reach Nayapul faster (ask your guide about the extra cost). We will reach Nayapul by early afternoon with plenty of time for the 1-hour drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
You have the option to extend your trip to continue onto Chitwan jungle safari, rafting adventure, Kathmandu valley shopping tour, and scenic Everest flight, mountain biking, and other activities. Otherwise drive back to Kathmandu and overnight at a hotel.

This is my first trekking trip in nepal. i am so impressed by their friendly and professionally service . Especially our guide Mr Yaka, he is a patient and polite man, he always tried his best to assist us during the trekking and sastified our request with his ‘never fall nose 😂’. Having been our first visit to this beautiful Himalayan country Nepal, we were not rally prepare for doing longer and tougher trek. I did the Trekking of Ghorepani ponhill with my two friends from Malesia. It was the best Experience of my life. I only had time 10 days in Nepal and decided to do the Ghorepani poonhill treks and also done the paragliding and wedding ceremony in gorkha

The nine days spent in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Poon Hill were amazing! Mr Bharat and Mr Yaka treated us excellently, it has became one of my best trekking trips for now! They are humble and provided the best services for us, including all the accommodation, breakfast, transportation, companion and a lot of laughs!
Mr Yaka is the best man I met in Nepal! I’m grateful to have him as our guide throughout the trek. He is patience, strong, responsible, very helpful, knowledgeable. When I was suffering to trek up to the peak of Poon Hill, he didn’t rush me but accompany me steps by steps, quietly and slowly. I thought I can’t see the sunrise in time but we all made it in the end! He is a kind man! I also received the best blessing from him when my boyfriend proposed to me at the top of Poon Hill. It was an unforgettable memory!

This is another time that I use Mountain treks Nepal‘s service. Our group of 06 people trekked to Ghorepani poonhill and tours to Kathmandu pokhara and also paragliding, Bharat arranged everything eg. Transportations, hotel, paragliding document with reasonable price since we landed at the Kathmandu Airport until the day we went back to home. Mr.Yaka was our trekking guide. Mr. Yaka has many years’ experience as a trekking guide. He well managed everything to suit to the number and trekking speed of our group, he provide us the superb service. I can guarantee that he is one of the best trekking guide in Nepal. The tea houses that arranged along the trekking route was fine. We are quite lucky the weather was perfectly clear every day in the morning.
