Welcome to Kathmandu, the lively capital and ancient cultural center of Nepal! Today, you will check into your hotel after being received by one of our representatives. You can explore the wonderful Kathmandu city features with colorful streets and ambiance of the local culture.
In the evening, there will be a meet and greet program with Mountain Treks Nepal Team. Here, you can discuss trekking itinerary and important guidelines are discussed. This prepares you for the exciting journey ahead. This will then be followed by leisure time to explore or relax as you prepare for the next day’s flight to Lukla.
On the second day of the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek, with Helicopter Return, we will fly to Tenzing Norgay Airport from Kathmandu. An early morning flight will take you to Lukla, which will serve you well with a stunning aerial view of the mighty Himalayan peaks.
Upon landing, you will meet your trekking guide and porter, and you will officially commence your journey. The trail begins with a gentle descent past Sherpa villages like Nurning and Chheplung, then alongside the Dudh Koshi River.
This hike is quite easy on the way to the destination, Phakding. By early evening, you will reach Phakding and will be accommodated in a tea house.
As the next day begins, you will commence on the next journey to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. The first part of the trek leads you through pine forests while crossing a series of suspension bridges above the thundering Dudh Koshi River. There would be Monjo, the gateway through which travelers enter Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on your way. If you have not got your permits, then you can purchase them at Monjo Check Post.
The path gets steeper as you climb, and even the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge marks this as one of the most exhilarating parts of your journey. As you step into Namche Bazaar, you will finally be rewarded with the first sight of Everest. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Today is meant to be spent getting used to altitude in preparation for the higher altitudes. As you prepare for your acclimatization, some of the important things you must be concerned about are hydration, proper sleep, nutrition, and more. You can also go on an optional hike to Everest View Hotel, enjoying the views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Everest View Hotel.
The rest of the day can be spent walking through Namche Bazaar vibrant settlement with its shops, bakeries, and cafes. The Sherpa museum fills the journey with more flavor, as it gives the traveler insight into local culture and the history of mountaineering.
We are already at the half of the 10 Days Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return. Today, you will start your day with an early breakfast at Namche before you set out for your trek to Tengboche. The path stretches through the Sherpa Villages such as Khyangjuma and Phunke Tenga Village, which offer magnificent views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and others. After the descent to the Dudh Koshi River, another suspension bridge will link you to a steady ascension through rhododendron forests.

Dingboche is a traveler’s paradise for sure, as it offers a change in the landscape from a greenish ambiance to rugged terrains. The stone walls scattered around and grazing yaks are some of the major add-ons. It is a lovely, peaceful place surrounded by high peaks where one can spend time relaxing and acclimatizing. This is more like a rest day for your body to acclimatize to a gradually increasing altitude. Also, you will go on a short hike to the beautiful village of Chhukung, located in between the great views of peaks from the Mahalangur Range. A brief trek to Chhukung affords a stunning view of Island Peak, Amphu Laptsa, and the Imja Valley.
The rest of your day can be spent discovering Dingboche or literally taking it easy in this tranquil setting. This much-earned day off is now also for acclimatization and making you ready for the tiring days ahead.
The trek from Dingboche to Lobuche is challenging yet rewarding. As you push this beautiful day during Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return further, you will reach one of the highest passes, Dughla Pass, at 4830 m. This journey surely brings the magnificent sights of Mt Everest and other peaks to your eyes.

After exploring the base camp, you will descend to Gorak Shep for some well-deserved rest.
You have an early-morning trek up to Kalapathar that brings you 360 views of the Himalayas with golden sun rays on Everest and its neighboring peaks. This place is also known as the world’s highest webcam viewpoint, sitting at an altitude of 5,644 meters above sea level.
Once you complete exploring Kala Patthar, you will hike back and have your breakfast at Gorak Shep. Then, it’s time to board a helicopter for a flight back to Kathmandu through Lukla. The flight serves you with aerial views of the Himalayan peaks and the Khumbu Valley, forming a beautiful conclusion to this adventure. Upon arriving at Kathmandu, you will be escorted to your respective hotels for an overnight stay.

We were a group of 7 people who booked the trip with Mountain trek Nepal for the Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda Trek. Some of us had been to Nepal before and done to the Everest Base Camp Trek with this agency so we also decided to joined mountain treks Nepal.
Our guide Raj and his assistants Ramsh and rajesh attended to our every need and we would highly recommend them for treks in Nepal. Some of us had previously had Raj as our guide in the past EBC trekking and knew that he would do everything possible to make our trek amazing, safe, comfortable, and funny.
Raj provided us with information and so interesting things day by day, noting how many hours of walking would be required, how is the path, lunch places , the required amount of drinking water, and the Necessary clothing for the given day’s weather conditions and altitude, altitude sickness etc…
it was so fun return by helicopter after the base camp.

Wow trip of a lifetime. After a long plan for trekking in Everest Nepal, we three friends did the trek with this company in the recommendation of one of our common friend. Our guide Himal was very friendly and knowledgeable. Meals in the trek was off course different for us but we enjoyed Nepalese meals and tried eating with our hands like locals, accommodation was comfortable and views were awesome. We all loved the trek and farewell dinner with Bharat in Kathmandu. We miss you girls 🙂

This was my first visit in Nepal and finally my dream come true after many years. I did the Everest base camp trek with other 3 friends. The trekking was awesome and memorable. All the things are managed so well by Mountain treks Nepal started from Guide, porter, transportation, accommodation in Kathmandu and in mountain, food and etc…
We had krishna as our guide and he really shown us his experience and professionalism . He is so helpful and friendly also. We also have Rajendra and rabin as our porters, they always willing to help us and caring us during the trekking. I don’t think a thank you would be enough to describe our happiness to have you guys during our trekking.

We had Memorable trek to the Everest base camp, made possible by our friendly, humorous and helpful guide Deepak .He was always helpful and flexible when we decided to walk ahead to reach the base camp a day in advance. We had a great fun during the trek, did a lot of cultural song and dances as well.
Oure potters lakpa was so nice always smiling face even he had to carry heavy bag in that high altitude.
Specilly few back to lukla,kathmandu by heli when we were so tried , we enjoyed the views ..
Bharat, the Manager, was very responsible man to organize all and answering our queries so quickly. The accommodation and food along the way was great, we had really nice weather, great hospitality from this guys!

Thanks to Bharat for organizing my trip to Everest Base Camp so well – from the pickup at the airport to the drop off.
Lovely staff in the hotel, very clean rooms and great breakfast.
For EBC I had a Porter-Guide from Lukla. During the Trek Bharat stayed in touch and would try everything to make it a good trip. Even when I hurt my knee and couldn’t walk anymore for one day he changed the flight back to Kathmadu so I could add one extra day of Trekking.
Also the price is very reasonable and they offer budget packages for people like me who travel on a low budget. And they made me feel safe all the time which is very important to me as I am a female solo traveler.
When I come back to Nepal for Trekking I will choose this company again.

I did the Everest Base camp trek alone with mountain treks Nepal, I was recommended to them by a friend who had done the trek in 2017. From the moment I first contacted the company to inquire, Bharat was very quickly to respond and helpful. He would always respond in a timely manner whenever I had a question, especially given the circumstances of Nepal’s situation this past year. Being a solo younger female, it was so nice not to have to worry about anything and everything was handled. I stayed in Hotel Thamel Backpackers Home for my first few nights in Kathmandu which is an excellent hotel for me. it’s very beautiful. My guide was Akash and he took such great care of me during my stay and trek. The other people who were set to come on the trek with me unfortunately pulled out, so I ended up having essentially a private tour, and it wasn’t any less fun. The guides and the other people trekking from other companies at the same time made it very entertaining. I received a call from Bharat during my final few days of trekking to check up and see how I was doing it was really appreciated, which I thought was wonderful service. I don’t typically do a lot of all-inclusive tours but I’m definitely glad I spent the money and went with Mountain Treks Nepal. Thanks for a memorable experience!
