Mardi Himal Trek Permit
To trek in every region of Nepal, you must have a trekking permit and conservation area permit. Similarly, for Annapurna region hiking, you must have ACAP and TIMS as Mardi Himal Trek Permit before starting your hiking.

7 Days Mardi Himal Trek is a short trip to Mardi Himal arranged in the Annapurna region which begins from Pokhara. Mardi Himal Trek gives a pleasant and overpowering experience to the uneven climate-drenched perspective on green slopes, snowcapped mountains, and strolls into the perfect backwoods of exquisite rhododendron and oak. In the preliminary, we stroll through the high edge with the consistent perspective on Annapurna mountain reaches and Dhaulagiri at the west, Mt.Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) at east, and Manaslu mountain range in the east. Mardi Himal is situated underneath Mt. Machhapuchhre which is one of the illegal mountain and unclimbed tops up until now.
Moreover, you compulsorily need trekking permits for the exploration of Mardi Himal and other parts of the Annapurna region. Here are some of the documents required for having Mardi Himal Trek:
TIMS card
Trekkers Information Management System or TIMS Card is necessary for having trek in whole Annapurna region so Mardi Himal trek requires too. For taking TIMS, you need to fill up a form with 2 copies of passport-sized photos. It is unavailable to fill up the form online. On average, it costs $20 per person.
Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit (ACAP)
You are not allowed to enter inside Annapurna Conservation Area without having ACAP. You have to show your ACAP at pothana and start your exploration to Mardi Himal. Do not forget to carry two passport-sized photographs with you for obtaining ACAP.36
Where Do I get my Permits?
Above mentioned permits are available at Nepal Tourism Board, 2Km away from Central Thamel. If you walk, it takes nearly 30 minutes to reach NTB.
Moreover, you can obtain your permits in Pokhara as well. But we suggest you take your permits from Kathmandu rather than Pokhara.
Remember, you have to carry Nepali currency to obtain permits for your trek. Do not forget to bring 4 passport-sized photos along with 2 copies of your passport. It is available to photocopy your passport at the TIMS counter.
Moreover, you can obtain your permits in Pokhara as well. But we suggest you take your permits from Kathmandu rather than Pokhara.
