Spring at Mardi Himal Base Camp

The temperature may rise to 20 degrees Celsius and since winter is passing by, Morning and Evening seems not so cold during this season. This is the best time to trek Mardi Himal Base Camp. Summer at Mardi Himal Base Camp

Monsoon (June-August) is not so the favorable season for trekking in Mardi Himal Base Camp. Pokhara is the starting point of this trek. Weather is unfavorable and unpredictable during this season. Due to unpredictable temperatures, there might be rainfall at any time. Usually, skies are clear and spectacular views can be spotted. This is not peak season so there might not be a number of tourists exploring this region.

Since it is hotter and not peak season so fewer tourists explore this season. Due to rainy season, leeches and bugs can be spotted while hiking. If you are hiking in the forest then leeches fall in your body from a high tree.

Autumn at Mardi Himal Base Camp

Autumn (September-November) is also one of the most rated seasons for trekking in this region. With no doubt, this is exceptional for trekking. The surrounding seems clear by Monsoon season and it looks awesome with a stunning mountain standing tall. The sunrise and sunrise view along with the mountain looks absolutely breathtaking.

Usually, the temperature remains 20 degrees Celsius during the day and drops to 5 degrees Celsius during the night. But you could experience a bit of rain during early September. It is not necessary to carry heavy clothes during the trek in Mardi Himal Base Camp. As autumn comes to the end, you could feel a bit cold during day and night time indicating winter. In case, if you travel this region at the end of the November then make sure to carry warm clothes.

Winter at Mardi Himal Base Camp

Winter (December-February) is the coldest season in Nepal. The temperature in this region is so cold and difficult to survive. Hiking at the high elevation is so cold during this season. However, after walking every 1000 meters temperature rises by 5 degrees Celsius. Winter is dry and it is also less chance of rainfall. In winter, you could have an amazing experience of snowfall along with an awesome view of Himalayas. The bright day begins with a chilly morning and ends with a cold night.

As trekking trails are not so crowded so that you can observe the amazing view of mountains. In addition, you have many more options for choosing the type of accommodation as per your need. Temperature ranges from 9 degrees Celsius to 12 degrees Celsius at day but it might drop at -5 degrees Celsius at night. So, this season is also not peak season.

Lastly, Autumn and Spring are the best two seasons for enjoying with mountain vistas.
